Last year I bought a 1939 edition of The Lucky Bag at an antique show. Belonged to an upperclassmen who became significant in Maritime Law.

Was amazing to read the stories of those in the class who died in WW2. One of the midshipman would be captured after the battle of Sunday Straits. He died of wounds while a POW. His 1939 class ring was found on a Japanese soldier on Guadalcanal. It was later returned to the USNA.
