Like most right - thinking people, conservatives usually do not wish any harm come to anyone, and when anyone becomes ill, we pray for their health.
That said, any soldier, sailor, airmen, marine, or Coast Guardsman who served in Vietnam, or had a family member who served in Vietnam, I understand the vehemence. I was watching the body bags on ABCCBSNBC night after night, and praying that I did not see my father. I should have known he would never let any commie pinko fascist get the best of him. He survived WWII, Korea and Vietnam, in the air and sometimes on the ground. He was shot down in Vietnam, and thank God the good guys reached him first.
Whenever that commie pinko fascist Fonda was on television, he would change the channel, and we did not mind at all. To us, she wasn’t pretty, or glamorous. She stood on the guns that were shooting at dad. Mom raised us to be forgiving and pray. Dad raised us to recognize evil. They both succeeded.
