Going riding in an hour. Beautiful blue day. Super Six EVO hi mod. Pure joy
I still insist that Presta valves are a solution in search of a problem, and are more trouble than they’re worth.
If Schrader valves are good enough for cars, trucks, buses, airplanes, wheelbarrows, and submarines, they’re good enough for bicycles.
Ok, forget about the submarines. But they’re on fuel injection systems too.
Any of you heard of the “Big Flyer” from SE bikes? 800 dollars for what exactly? It seems like and awful lot of money for a 12 yr old’s bike. It’s stripped down. Nothing on it. 1 gear. I know nothing about bike so maybe I’m missing the value. All The kids know it like it’s a thing.
I’ll be riding around Crater Lake next weekend. They close off much of the road to cars so that bicycles can relax and enjoy the ride.

I was out on the trails this morning on my Catrack Trail tricycle. Great day!
Please add me to your ping list if you have one.
Does anyone have any experience with bicycle trailers. I thought about making a small two wheel one and instead of hooking to the seat post, buy the adapter to hook to the rear wheel axle. It seems like hooking up to the rear axle would be safer, but I have no real life time experience on stuff like that.
I was riding through the woods today and saw a group of about 20 small school children on the trail in front of me. When they saw me they split in half to each side and lined the trail. I thought wow that's intelligent and kind. As I rode through them the kids all raised their arms and hailed me with cheers.
Children having fun is the greatest thing. Hahaha!
On the way I passed a cemetery:
