nitzy,
I’ve been a registered Republican since I turned 18 in 1989.
My first primary vote was for Buchanan in 1992, after he lost the primary, I voted for Bush over Slick Willy in the General Election.
The libertarian candidates provide a good outlet for disgruntled voters, so I voted for them in 2004, 2008, & 2012.
I had high hopes for W Bush but he only wanted to fight overseas.
Taking on the domestic enemy wasn’t in his fiber, as he let the democrats run a 24/7 hate campaign against him, while he attached a “kick me” sign to his forehead.
McCain and Romney were two jokes who could’ve “jumped off” a bridge together for all I care.(Golden Gate Bridge would’ve been good)
Trump got me voting for Republican Presidential Candidates again in 2016 & 2020.
Your vote is like your word or signature: You own it, its yours & nobody else’s.
You don’t ‘owe’ the two major political parties ‘squat.’
Are you me?
I have a signed copy of Buchanan’s ‘A Republic Not an Empire’ that I got when me and my dad drove 2 hours to one of his rallies in 2000.
My voting history is almost identical to your except I got tricked in 2004. After 9/11, I believed the media hype and thought that too much was at stake to not vote for Bush.
