To: Deplorable American1776

I remember 1951, on the High Plains of NE New Mexico.

Dad had a great wheat crop which he planned to harvest the next day.
But the White Harvester beat him to it.
He borrowed money , put in a new crop and....drought. we left the High Plains the next year never to return.
