I just want to say thank you to the progressive left for these last few days of entertainment. The hypocrisy of you defending elitist, rich, white people in Martha’s Vineyard has been nothing short of pure hilarity.

Back to bed! Baby “shower” today for my should-be daughter-in-law. I made the apple pie yesterday to give to her mother - the one with the little red bird pie funnel in the middle. Maybe I’ll snap a pic and as CottonBall to post it for me. It’s cute, but I like the apple painted with food color in the middle better.
Hopefully the thieves don’t decide to hit in the same neighborhood twice!

At the 2016 Trump rally I attended, there was an enormous almost triangular shaped drape going from the opening where Trump entered the runway to the ceiling. There were necessarily empty seats behind this because anyone sitting there would have had their view of the stage completely blocked.
Those empty seats could only be seen from high on one arc of the stands where we happened to have been. They could not be seen from the stage or the press riser. If such empty seats still exist and are being shown on TV, instead of the thousands of completely filled seats, it is just another example of the propaganda media spreading its disinformation.
He loves telling the story of the male swimmer in the girl’s race. At least it is getting shorter. I wonder if some in his circle are advising him to drop it from the rally speeches. He asks the audience if they want to hear it. It seems like there’s a pause before there is a response, almost as if the people there are saying ….. no, we’ve heard that enough.
One of his other favorite stories is that of Ronna McDaniel persuading him to come to Michigan one last time the night before the 2016 election. We have been inflicted with her incompetence (perhaps sabotage) because of Trump’s love of telling that story. Unfortunately she has been a complete failure as head of the RNC IMHO. Thankfully he doesn’t tell that story any more.

2) In most races, money doesn’t make a difference. Lake was outspent 18:1 (!!); Hageman massively outspent, even the NH1 candidate was outspent by McCarthy’s smear ads by $5m and no matter. However, I do think Masters has to answer in creative ways some of these attack ads that make him look immature and mean. That said, he’s still VERY close in a state that has 150,000 R advantage. Baris thinks its 2 points right now.

Thanks. I’ve had IBS since my early twenties. The medical doctors had me on medication also ulcer medication. I read my friend’s drug book from medical school once and figured out the side effects were making me sicker. So I just quit, and figured out what foods to eat, etc.
I had started taking probiotics a long time ago, but inexpensive ones. I got a horrible ailment with lower digestive system, and couldn’t get into my doctor because of covid. My friend said I probably had Cdiff and needed antibiotics, which didn’t make any sense to me. So I did some research and found that probiotics needed so many strains and colonies, so I started taking them and got over it, and continue taking to this day, even though they are expensive.
Later I thought that may have been covid as I found the majority of cases in my area were in the digestive system.
I posted that, upthread (yesterday)....isn’t it too funny?

I agree. If they had a “Survivor” reality show with those folks it would be comedy gold. They wouldn’t need a script writer.

My favorite baby shower game: smash up various candy bars and spread each one on a numbered disposable baby diaper. Pass around to all to smell and note what they think each one is. Whoever gets the most correct wins a prize.
