I graduated HS in 1987 and a couple of years before that a teacher had us paid up and write a satirical song to current lyrics.

My partner and I wrote…”Every Chore You Make”. It was an ode to our parents.

Reminds me of some of the rock lyrics that have been misunderstood by some. “there's the bathroom on the right” instead of “there's a bad moon on the rise”...and “excuse me while I kiss this guy” instead of “excuse me while I kiss the sky”.
