As dumb as Mike Cohen can act, he knows Trump to some degree.
My speculation is Mike thinks when Trump reads this statement, he will see it as a dare.
IOW: “Donald Trump would never DARE run for president, now that Liz Cheney has come to town...PROVE ME WRONG!!”
Mike wants Trump to either declare too early, and screw up the Mid Term momentum, or risk being upstaged by Liz.
My advice to Trump on this? Ignore Mike Cohen. No need to even respond. Mike needs the attention of a new ‘fight’ with Trump.
Opinions vary, I'm sure. But my speculation is that when Trump reads this statement he'll brush it off his lapel like it was a dust bunny.
