We take our gambling money (which we can afford and expect to lose) and divide it into envelopes for each day. If we run out of money for a particular day, our gambling is over for the day and we start fresh the next day with a new envelope of money. More often than not, we have money left over to carry into the next day. We just take our time playing the games and have fun.
Video poker at the bar is the best way to stretch money, get a constant flow of free booze and people watch..
Half the time I walk away with more $$ or the same as when I walked in.
