The gift shop actually has a window directly overlooking the edge……that was fine enough for me.

I’ve never been to the GC but I’ve been to the Canyonlands in Utah. My three young kids with me the first time I was there. I didn’t mess around with them. We kept good distances. But even if they weren’t there, there would have been no getting too close.
