I really think Republicans should be more outspoken as to the *reasons* they do what they do.

Republicans do tend to act like their reasoning is self-evident - and forget they are talking to mental 8-year-olds who are still struggling with elementary school concepts of fairness. The defenders of the student loan bailouts being the most recent example.

I’ve noticed that conservatives eat their own as well. There is not a lot of inclusiveness or flexibility in the bunch.
