I sure did. They wanted me to go through Google or Apple and the next step was to create an account.

I closed my Twitter account when they banned Trump. Not going to sign up again.

To be fair...different browsers treat Twitter differently. I know the Chinese browser I use on my phone (UC Turbo) will not play videos on Twitter. I have to copy the Twitter link and paste it into the phone’s Samsung browser to play the video. A pain to do it that way. And, the UC Turbo browser will only let me view the Twitter conversation for a minute before it rolls me over to a sign-up page. The Samsung browser doesn’t seem to have that problem. I don’t use Chrome or Firefox on my phone because I can’t get the formatting right at FR. UC Turbo formats FR perfectly!
