To: Gay State Conservative
Rolling Stones have had no appeal to me since about 1978. I do like listening to the older music though.

"Start Me Up" from 1981 is one of the most awful songs ever. Maybe because it makes me think of Windows 95.

Thanks largely to my town's library system (an outstanding one) and CD burners I have a CD collection of about 5,000 songs...95% of them being from the 60s.Most of the rest are from the 50s.

The Stones' stuff up until Sticky Fingers was truly classic.The Who's early stuff...the Byrds...the Beatles,etc,etc were as well. But seeing any of them perform today? No thanks!

There's a BBC comedy show from about 20 years ago called "Harry & Paul". It's bloody hilarious. One of their running gags is the Beatles in their 70's...still touring and making albums. Hysterical!
