You’re guilty until proven innocent. Sad - no motive. No history of abuse. Wife was distraught and sad from losing son and other family members - but prosecutors needed a suspect - bam - husband has to fight and prove innocent. System sucks.
It is sad. Hadn’t the poor man already been through enough?
It’s also sad how suicides can cluster. First her husband, then her son, then her. It’s a very special grief those who mourn suicides suffer. The teen boy could not handle it. She could not handle it twice. Too, too much tragedy in one family.
“System sucks.”
No argument with you there. Seems to me that detectives and prosecutors have devolved into scum constantly looking for opportunities to justify their existence by persecuting anyone and everyone based upon the flimsiest of evidence.
Very sad and evil.
When you’re a man and there’s a woman involved,
You’re guilty until proven innocent.
In our adversarial system, justice is not a goal. Winning is the goal, regardless of innocence or guilt. Innocents are convicted and guilty set free. Every. Day. The system incentivises such corruption through political and financial advancement of the worst abusers.
We had a secretary that committed suicide after a string of personal tragedies. Her husband committed suicide, a year later her son did too, and then her daughter died in a car accident. All of this in a span of 3 years.
It was very sad.
