For the longest time, my favorite was "The Goodbye Look" but now favoring the story about Lester the Nightfly on WJAZ.
Regardless, the album is a true masterpiece.

The entire album is phenomenal. It grows on you with each listen. Never gets tired.
That can also be said of the Steely Dan albums.

Walk Between Raindrops is my personal fave on that album.Every single song on it is terrific.
Ruby Baby is my personal fave.
I.G.Y. is brilliant, a musical monument to the days of the Great Society.
I believe I actually remember the very picture Donald Fagen alludes to for the supersonic underwater train connecting NYC to Paris: "all graphite and glitter." I'm pretty sure it was on the cover of Popular Science back then.

Walk Between Raindrops is my personal fave on that album.Every time The Lovely Mrs. End Times Sentinel and I have a disagreement, I run that song through my head.
