I see two power-tripping members of this forum threatening to *sue* people for libel. That’s beyond appalling. Threatening to sue people just to be vindictive against those who disagree with them and stand up to their insulting bullying.
I’m glad to see the threatened FReeper(s) giving this narcissistic behavior the ridicule it deserves, but people should be ashamed of even making such smarmy, sleazy threats.
And these are the same people who whine about how others talked mean to them or whatever. And they wonder why people suspect that they’re trolls??
Your narrative is incorrect. I am not threatening anything. After many threats from an individual doxx me, the line has been crossed. Let me connect the dots for you.
1. It is specifically stated in the forum that attempts to find the true identity of a member of this forum is forbidden
2. Several times this particular poster threatened to do just that and at the same time accused me of criminal activity as well as civilly actionable activities
3. This individual then posted knowledge of a family member who attends my church.
4. I was approached by that family member who specifically identified free republic as the source of the individual who identified me
5. I specifically asked that this family member not tell me any further info as the identity of poster as it would violate the rules
6. Now having direct and actionable proof that a poster violated the rules of the forum, followed through on a thread, and the words accusing me of crimes that this poster made historically satisfies all elements of the tort of libel.
7. The question of the failure of taking action against the poster by the leadership and specifically leading to allowing this libel to occur and not addressing it leads to the concept of vicarious liability
8. There is no way I would choose that path as it is not leaderships or ownerships problem how a poster chooses to act. Others might take a different approach. But as for me i do not hold ownership responsible on anyway. The mods have let this behavior go, but so what. It’s a volunteer position and I know the mods do the best they can
9. The only person who has caused damage is this individual who could have said whatever he wanted but decided he had to know who I was most likely to intimidate me
10. I am now considering my options. I have two years to decide what I want to do. It’s hardly a threat it is an accurate and transparent disclosure of what is occurring.
Would you care to speak to whether you condemn being identified in my private life. Would you comment on do you condemn the accusation of criminal activity and threats arising having my profession stripped from me because I disagree with a minority of people who are repeatedly sources here (see my previous posts).
Will anyone take the position of condemning being called a criminal, accused of malpractice without foundation and having my anonymity violated. Do you not see that the line that was crossed was the identification piece. Until then there was nothing wrong. Say what you want when you want. But when I was identified and the statements are patently false and damaging (accusation of criminal activity) is what the problem is.
By the way, I am not the only one.
There is one other that I am aware of.
So when people who have done something well out of bounds may be held accountable, it seems to me this is justice. The fact that it will be costly for the respondent is just the way of the judicial system. Perhaps he or she should have thought twice before taking the step over the clear line

Fortunately, these delusional swarmers are the very small minority, here, and, thankfully....now that folks are (FINALLY) waking up, around the world.

If these folks were truly who/what they say they support, they would find threads ‘touting the wonders’ of these horrid $hots to post/post all of their “facts” and info on, rather than swarming to $hot warning threads....and hurling threats.
