They have a Goya section in my local chain supermarket. I buy a little item every week even though I probably don’t need it.

Goya Salzonador Total is INCREDIBLE seasoning. I use it all the time including today.

Back when this all started, Mrs. Chaos said it would be a good time for us to stock up on Goya. We're about 20 miles south of Houston, and when we went to our local WalMart, the large Goya shelf area was cleaned out. Same at our local HEB.
It was almost a week before they got more in. The guy at HEB said Goya was having trouble keeping up with the demand.

As I recall, there were people within his company that wanted to give him the boot so they could cave to the wokesters. I wonder if they’ve apologized yet for their misguided actions.I've never heard of a liberal apologizing to anyone outside their little group.

Years ago I tried Malta Goya, because I saw a lot of Mexicans drinking it. Yuck.
However, their other products are just fine, and my wife now buys Goya products whenever it is an option.

I looked it up, it has monosodium glutamate in it. Some people have a sensitivity to it.
Having said that, I’m gonna pick some up and give it a try…🙂

Goya is out of my price range but after getting a good buy on their pink beans and finding out how good Goya is, I have accumulated a few hundred cans of their various beans bought on sale.
Goya is a good product.

Goya frozen chile relleno is pretty good. I suspect a lot of restaurants use this premade product.

I had never bought Goya foods previously because of cultural unfamiliarity, and not liking Mexican food (too spicy for me)—so I overgeneralized. But when that brouhaha happened and I heard that stand-up guy defending American opportunity for hard workers to succeed, I started looking carefully at the Goya shelves and have found many products I love—several varieties of canned or dried beans for soups and stews, canned artichoke hearts, Maria cookies, olive and coconut products, and lots of other foods. Now, I make it a point. Go, Goya!

I was similar and wasnt willing to even consider buying any of it that I would have been able to use because I thought it was just more of some contaminated dangerous type crap from Mexico. It really wasnt until this original story told me otherwise that I tried any of it.

I started buying Goya when the libs went crazy. Lots of people around here did. Both local Krogers expanded their Goya sections and still couldn’t keep product on the shelves.
Even though the economy makes it difficult to buy as much Goya as I would like I still buy what I can. The quality is definitely worth the price.

I buy the Mexican boxed rice and they make a GREAT boxed and canned seafood paella meal. It comes with bomba rice, a tin of seafood (like shelled mussels and clams), and spices. I add typically fresh seafood like shrimp or fresh caught white fish to it. It’s very good and easy and tastes authentic.

Try the pink beans and refried beans. Interesting Salsa as well.
