Little Village is about 90% Mexican. I doubt seriously if the victim was white, but was most likely Mexican.
Little Village is where he was arrested, at 2600 S. California, which just happens to be where the Cook County Criminal Court building is located. The crime occurred at the CTA Blue Line Damen Ave station, there are several hospitals, and the University of Illinois Chicago campus right there. Many people employed in medical field, and students from the university use that stop. I’ve passed that stop many times, nothing but students and hospital workers, mixed in with a few “Apple pickers” too.
