The government CAN find out who did this IF they want to. Its that simple. She is a federal officer in Cfongress and the federal government AKA FBI can get involved and this would be cleared in no time, if they were serious.
I have seen hackers on youtube take down scammers with far less resources than the FBI.
I always respond to people, not you, but to people who always use various excuses as to why the authorities can’t trace someone online with: Go online or make a phone call and threaten the life of the President or any big named, “important” person and see if they aren’t at your door within hours if not minutes!🤔
Using a VPN would make no difference!
I had an aquantence who used a throw away, called a local campaign headquarters and said everyone would soon be dead ... they were waiting for him at his house by the time he got home!😬
No idea how they did it but they did!
Haven’t seen the guy since!
