You've got all that other information, but you don't know how popular was a bill to make black people into second class citizens at the best, and undesirables at the worst?

Well we know from the fact that it passed, that it got at least 50%. Did it get 90%?

Was there outrage that it passed? Do you have any information on public outcry against the law?

If it did not provoke public outcry, it likely was accepted by the public, and therefore demonstrates their callous disregard and outright hatred for black people.
