He kind of made it her business, didn't he?

Nonetheless, I wouldn't care. Fortune 500 companies are pure evil anyway. They will be offering massive benefits for trannies soon enough as well, so everyone should just milk the system any way they can, until our dying nation finally goes belly up.

She should look at this as an advantage for her. If a promotion comes up in the next 6 months she will be ahead of him. The six months will also either increase the gap in their qualification levels(if she is more experienced to begin with) or close the gap if she is less experienced. It is still a net benefit for her over him if it is a competitive work environment regarding promotions.

If she gets more work thrust upon her at the same pay because the guy is on leave, then yes, I say it is her business.
