"They want less food production. They think food production is anti green. Look what they are doing to the Netherlands farmers. Look what they are doing to the price of fertilizer. They want us to produce less. They want us to eat more rancid meats and vegetables and they want us to eat more bugs. They want us to produce less of all things. It's part of their green new deal. More bugs. More rancid food. Both of those story lines are just now starting to be pushed. You will see more and more of it."

They do want us to produce less and pushing "green" farming and dining is due to their shortsighted misleading fear-mongering "science" and will lead to less food per acre. But as disregarding expiration dates means more food, then it is would be consistent with liberalism to instill fear whereby entire shelves are thrown away due to some chance of infection, or because it is judged unhealthy. Not long ago the mayor of NYC forbade donations of food since it was judged to have too much salt and sugar. And is is liberal who want to inspect and license surplus food donation ministries.

Freedom for the public decide if a food is safe to eat is contrary to liberal fear-mongering and elitism and the dependence upon them, and the control they lust after.

There is no federal requirement for food producers to put expiration dates on their food.
