CA requires a background check for ammo purchases.
A normal citizen cannot order ammo to be delivered to his own location. It must be delivered to an FFL, who will complete the transaction, including background check and purchaser’s personal data.
Some vendors do not want to put up with the extra cr*p.
Some do not want to face legal issues and risk their business for some ‘improper’ (in CA’s eyes) transaction.
Some vendors just say ‘Screw you CA’, and your people.
Thanks for clearing that up, Bob. I’m happy I don’t live in CA and have to put up with that nonsense. I feel for those shooters who do bear that unfair, unconstitutional burden.
