This the way to go.
Greek life at colleges is 50 years past its shelf life. Social fraternities and sororities shouldn’t be allowed on campus today.
FAKE!!! Everyone knows that the JU-88 didn’t drop torpedos! They were ME-110s!
But remember: The Wokies don’t see it that way. They demand CONFORMITY! And OBEDIENCE! And they HATE DIVERSITY and INDIVIDUALITY!
What a bunch of BS, hollow words. They dont give a damn about them at all. They are just upset they cant control then.
What surprises me is how the sons and daughters of very wealthy alumni haven’t banded together to buy upscale, off campus housing to use as private clubs. As clubs, they would be free of all sorts of requirements and limitations inflicted on “public” accommodations.
As a brother Teke our Chapter received more than two dozen reports of individual acts of perversion SO profound and disgusting that decorum prohibits listing them here.
In West Virginia in the 1970’s at one of the community colleges a student who had lost an arm in the Viet Nam War (at the shoulder so not much use of an artificial limb then) duked one of several male student’s calling him a Nazi and baby killer hard enough to knock the man out cold. The vet was brought up on violating school code after the city cops refused to press charges. He got off with a stiff warning. The female dean of students stood and said she opposed the finding and that she had opposed Viet Vers being allowed to register in the first place as they were war criminals, murderers and narcotic addicts who should not be allowed on a college campus.
Yup, that’s TKE.
I graduated in 1967. KA wasn’t even on campus; they were on University Ave.
But what great parties. I stayed in the chapter house for a few years.
We did take a roadtrip up to the chapter than Ronald Reagan actually stayed at.
We went upstairs and the entire top floor was foggy with bong smoke. This was all 40 years ago, but TKE had a reputation back them and lived up to it.
Our TKE Chapter was kicked off campus and then it disbanded sometime in the late 80’s or 90’s. Sad.
its a select group of privileged guys and it is NOT open to just anyone...
why don't they just hang out posters "We're better then you rabble"....
entitled supposed "elite"....
I was never in a fraternity. Instead, I was in the Navy. I can’t imagine what we would have done as a self-governing group of 18-21 year old males. We were alredy out of control even with the Navy breathing down our necks.
This is great news. They are adults and universities don’t treat their young adult students as adults. I’ve noticed a new trend of private dorms—just outside campus and better and more free than university dorms (better meal plans and amenities; more freedom and fewer rules, no mask requirements…) this is a good trend. Universities infantilize their customers.
