ThankQ HoneysuckleTN!

Question:

I’ve been getting deluged with emails from

contact@mail.donaldjtrump.com

And would like to unsubscribe, but in spite of verbiage at the bottom saying “click this link to unsubscribe”, there is no link.

Writing them back and saying “there’s no link and please unsubscribe me”, does no good; I’ve replied everytime they email me, and it’s been at least 10-20 times I’ve done this.

At the “contact us” link, they want my name, email, and phone number.

Sorry, I have no idea how to unsubscribe. I never signed up for contact @mail.donaldjtrump.com.

If you can’t unsub, maybe tag it as spam in your e-mail and let it go to the spam folder. At least, that way you won’t have to see it.

Try classifying it as spam. When I classify something in my inbox as spam, if they have a “subscription feed” attached to it, it asks me if I want to unsubscribe before it puts the email in my spam folder or deletes it.

Maybe you can get your email software to direct the offending mail to the spam folder.

I recommend Mail.com - It’s free and I’ve used it for years when “signing up” for something that I suspect might spam me. And within the account you can create up to 10 more alias addresses that can simply be deleted if they become inundated such as you described (they go to the same inbox).

Then check mail on the web or use a phone app called BlueMail to pick them up for you.

When a phone number is required to sign up I use a number I got through a phone app called Burner. Costs less than $2 a month.

Your email program should have a 'Block' option... intended for just such occasions. I have mountains of respect for DJT but his PR folks are scammers. Over a year ago I wrote and complained that his emails asking for donations have connected the 'Any Amount' button to $250. I note that that practice has stopped.

Trump emails offering an 'Important Survey' are just switch and bait; the questions are over simplistic and you cannot submit your views without donating. I just delete them any more. I will vote for Trump if he runs again and I will donate modest sums when I can - as I have done since day one of his accepting donations in 2016. I probably get 20 emails a day from the Trump organization, saying either 'You are my best supporter' or 'Where have you been? Are you a Democrat now?' In between are a myriad of mixed confusing messages. You can delete them all in seconds, WildH! 😌

I will donate on my terms.
