This would make sense if this year’s shot was formulated to interact with the
previous year’s shots somehow.
I’m finding it highly difficult to imagine this scenario without the accompaniment
of a great many deadly implications.
The only improbably good implication being that the new shots MAY hope to
undo the harm of the old shots, somehow.
Given who appears to be in control of such things lately, who knows?

I guess my point was that it didn’t make sense for them to want shots that didn’t apply, just to get the one that might.
