Basically, come January, with a Republican led house...they can write the budget bill, and delete the funding for the IRS crew. Biden may refuse to play, but they can stall the budget for six months and trigger all kinds of pain.

Here is the problem: That IRS funding was designated as “mandatory spending” like Social Security instead of as “discretionary spending”.

That little difference will make repealing it like cutting an entitlement.
