The greens are the worst of the worst they’ll destroy everything thinking they’re saving it
The antinuke movement is why we’re in this mess.
The real question: At what time today will they call the Wy. primary for Hageman?
It’s not about energy. It’s about Political power, control and unlimited funding.
Ping.
Toshiba had one of these things 20 years ago. They talked about it as a plug and play answer for remote areas (e.g. Alaska). Then, like with all these breakthroughs . . . nothing.
RE: The real question: At what time today will they call the Wy. primary for Hageman?
Is this somehow related to Microreactors and energy?
I was taught in elementary school in the 60's about how fossil fuels would run out by the year 1984, when the reality is that oil has very little to do with "fossils"
Now they are teaching that CO2 emmissions are causing (or accellerating) climate change when in reality, climate change is caused by the earth aging and CO2 emissions keep the atmosphere cooler and feed vegetation.
the Arrogance of humans is that they choose to believe the activities of man is not "natural" and intended, ( like: oh no, the termites are DESTRYING the forest !!!!)
Ping.
“Greens should embrace nuclear microreactors”
The article references MILITARY microreactors, not civilian.
Power source for military EV’s.
Bill Gates was partnering with toshiba at the time. My assumption is that they got the message, no nukes would be approved until further notice. And then the screen went dark. That was about the time the green renewable machine started to sputter to life.
Sorry, no can do. Micro-reactors are dirty in that they produce a waste product. So they are no different than a coal plant, or a cow for that matter.
We must recommit ourselves to wind and solar power. I’d like to say more, but I’m flying off in my private jet now to meet Al Gore at his huge mansion. We’ll be discussing how to best push the world back to the Middle Ages.

Doesn’t it have CIVILIAN applications?
Check out NuScale. I almost took a job there.
“Doesn’t it have CIVILIAN applications?”
Too many logistical and security concerns.
” I almost took a job there.”
Why did you decide not to? Getting into a promising new field can be exciting and rewarding. But with risks and lots of relocations.
(been there, done that)
They would if their priority wasn’t DEPOPULATION!
I currently have a really good job. Friend of mine moved there and took a job, tried to recruit me. Almost got me.
