I'm not the best researcher, but I can find no indication that a candidate for an office cannot still run for that office even while attending his or her own criminal trial . . . .

except maybe public abasement of aforesaid candidate.

As for me and my house . . . . any and every charge brought against President Trump is and is going to be (if they do) bogus (literally trumped up) charge.

The President had every right to inquire, investigate, object, litigate the election crimes of November 2020, before, during, and after.

The President’s supporters had a legal right to prepare alternative Electors in the event their State decertified its Electors.

The President did not incite a riot.

Investigating fraud and seeking restitution based on robbery is not seditious conspiracy.

The President did not engage or encourage Sedition.
