Abosolute power to classify or declassify. PERIOD. And there is nothing that Congress or anybody else can do about it.
So they try to apply the Espinage Act of 1917. I’m sorry that doesn’t apply to the President of the United States. It has never been applied. How about the Presidential Records Act of 1978? I’m sorry. I don’t mean to upset people or be provacative - THAT DOESN’T APPLY TO THE PRESIDENT EITHER.”
