Runway shows are generally the extreme in fashion - basically competition between Houses.

It is so sad. Fashion used to be great.

I designed/sold hand-woven clothing (sheer wools/raw silk) in the 80s. I tried to produce comfortable, flattering, timeless garments. They did well until the ready-to-wear crowd began importing Indian handwovens in 1987.

They just ruin everything they touch and then they go on to destroy it totally.
