1. The best way to reduce its power is to break up the agency and move what's left away from Washington.
3. Send all traditional law enforcement employees to the U.S. Marshal's Service, as it was before the FBI was created.
4. Send all the remaining employees to new agencies.
6. Close the FBI headquarters in D.C.

Will we have the numbers to do this in January and will our representatives have the will? We'll have MTG and Lauren Bobert leading the charge. We just might be on a roll and the same could be done with the non essential departments.
will our representatives have the will?
************
I seriously doubt it. They just want some more seats but won’t do anything constructive with them.
We will not have the numbers because we are going to re-elect the 145 Assistant Democrats who voted for Liz Cheney in Feb 2021 and we will re-elect Mitch’s bitches.
Incumbent RINOs have been defeated at over twice the rate in the 2022 primaries as any previous cycle. These traitors are being replaced with MAGA, but it will take more than one cycle to oust them all.
On November 9th one of these women should demand Wray resign before the end of the year or he will be brought up on charges. Whistle blower protection for any FBI agent who wants to keep his job.
The men aren’t gonna do it. We need women to stand up for us on our side. I find it embarrassing. The rats don’t have that problem because their reps are girlie-men.
Reorgs never work - same monkeys same trees. Just eradicate it, hold an investigation and anyone not spilling on what went on or implicated in what went on is presumptively unqualified to hold any federal position.
Why would you advocate continuing to employ any of them?
We also need to greatly reduce the number of federal crimes.
Refuse to fund the FBI
If we could do it, the only way it makes sense is to zero out the entire department and terminate all employees. Not one employee transferred. Implode the building. Salt the ground it stands on.
*Why would you advocate continuing to employ any of them?*
You cannot expect a Profile in Courage act from everyone. Trump will have to lighten up for women and we can’t get too full of ourselves. Think Saddam Hussein’s military being broken up. More chaos.
Do the standard corporate musical chairs. Have all these people re-apply for jobs in new departments. And then keep shuffling for a decade or two.
Keep the lab intact. That kind of tech is hard to reproduce, and much of its impact is because of the records they have. And, no, it can’t simply be digitized and put on some bloody cloud crappola.
As to the rest, don’t forget that the political hack Mueller came from a regional office. And, he accelerated the decline. Scattering folks around is a good idea but if not accompanied with a rigid set of “don’t ever do this again” rules there will be no effect.
Exactly! They will simply take their poisonous culture to their new agencies. We need to fire them all and start over.
Keep the forensic labs and the techs. Shit-can the rest.
The FBI is consistently partisan and criminal. We have not seen even one good-apple come forward to oppose this corruption.
They need Nuremberg-style trials. If they are merely all fired, they will regroup as an underground crime organization. If they are merely restructured, that would simply redistribute the bad apples and spread the corruption.
I’d put them on the “do not rehire” list.
sounds like a plan to corrupt all the departments you’re sending FBI employees too.
1) But I do agree that they should separate the law enforcement from all federal agencies, leaving only investigation in the FBI.
2) There should be a law that requires federal agencies to use local and state law enforcement to perform law enforcement activities, unless there is a clear reason and a judge approves.
3) I don’t think they should put all the law enforcement in with the Marshals. The Marshals seems to be working okay, I think. So don’t risk corrupting them. Form a Federal law enforcement agency. But again use local and state enforcement for almost everything unless a judge approves. The only reason I can think of where Federal enforcement might be necessary is where Local and State law enforcement is corrupt or multistate operations.
Absolutely No FBI to the Marshal service. The Marshals have been a good agency and your don’t want to corrupt them. You don’t add poison to food or you poison everything.
Fire them all and be done with it.
They have no legitimate function in constitutional America .
What makes you think having a majority of Republicans makes it any more likely this will happen?
Things are the way they are because they people in charge want them this way.
