Trump’s inexplicable attachment to a Republican Party that he never belonged to and which wants him as much as they want monkeypox is inexplicable.
To be elected, Trump needs a lot of Democrats who voted twice for Obama, as in 2016. Trump running as a Republican makes this less likely.
