A tidbit - Stalin actually died because of Doctor’s plot.
Since the Doctor’s plot trial was going on while Stalin got stroke, everybody was afraid to even touch Stalin, while he was obviously suffering from severe stroke.
Instead, they called meetings, debates and committees to decide what to do. When they finally made some decision, it was too late to save Stalin.
and that’s the tame version-he may have been poisoned by his doctor.
I doubt there were many tears shed, although probably a lot of vodka toasted and drunk.
