I am catching up on decades of shows. My dear wife of nearly 5 years passed away a few months ago and I hate the spooky silence without her at home with me.
I never watched a network series since maybe 1990. Only effect was I didn't know the advertisement catchphrases everyone said all day----I was out of the loop. I watched crime and cop detective dvds from Darren McGavin's Mike Hammer onward, on my terms.
I would much prefer to not watch TV and have my wonderful wife back with me. I really miss but I'm grateful she didn't suffer before dying quietly at home.
Lately I've taken to watching “Perry Mason’’.
I remember as a little kid my mother loved that show.
Now as an adult I do too.
It was well written , well produced and Raymond Burr, William Hopper , Barbra Hale and the other cast members were very good actors.
so sorry about your wife....life....life can be difficult.
Sorry for your loss Frank.
So sorry for your loss.
So very sorry for your loss, FRiend.
I’m sorry that you lost your wife. It must be hard to adjust.
I usually have the tv on when I’m working around the house, just to have the noise.
I would recommend NYPD Blue and Law & Order Criminal Intent. Those should keep you entertained for a month or so
