Federal Judge Orders DOJ to Provide Copy of Trump Raid Warrant
WRONG WRONG WRONG.
The following sentences say:
Federal Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart ordered the DOJ to “file a Response to the Motion to Unseal” the warrant after requests were made by the Times-Union, a newspaper located in Albany, N.Y., as well as the conservative legal group Judicial Watch.
The judge said that the DOJ must respond no later than Aug. 15, reports said.
The judge ordered the DOJ to FILE A RESPONSE TO A MOTION, NOT to produce the warrant.
The judge has not ruled on the motion.
The judge may yet deny the motion.
There is NO ORDER to unseal the warrant. NONE. NADA.
This is not rocket science.
There’s probably been a hundred times over the years when I’ve read on FR nonsense about “Judge orders this”, and “Judge orders that”, when the Judge didn’t, by people who don’t read, or can’t understand what they do read, and don’t know how simple basic court procedure works.
I'm really starting to suspect all these "conservative bloggers" out there are actually leftists in disguise, deliberately writing misleading articles so that gullible conservatives repeat them as gospel, then look like idiots themselves. Clever way to discredit those conservatives who swallow those stories.
You don't need to even be a lawyer to know that the blog is wrong. All the judge did was order the government to file a response saying why the warrant shouldn't be made public. The decision won't come until much later because this clown is likely to sit on it as long as he can.
