I'd guess it was more than the contents of the safe they were looking for. 8 or 9 hours inside? A locksmith can drill a safe and I don't think it takes that long with the right tools/experience. I'd guess some big players are scared to death, enough to conduct an armed raid on a former president's private home.

It takes just a few seconds and a really strong magnet to break into most electronic safes (I assume Trump has a modern safe).

They operate with a solenoid actuated locking device and all you have to do is place the magnet on the solenoid and move it back and the locking pin moves back.
