They have none authority to stop the search. FBI had a warrant. Nothing they could do. Or risk getting locked up for obstruction.
Therein lies the rub. One would think that a simple request would be made to allow a search. NOPE.

We’re witnessing a lot of this kind of despotic behavior lately. Just saying.
The problem with our Justice system seems to be that there are seemingly no consequences for judges whose decisions get overturned in appeals court or SC.
If a higher court finds that this judge was wrong to authorize the warrant, then a grave injustice has been done. Who gets punished? Nobody, as far as I know.
