Over last 6 decades Dems have squandered TRILLIONS of dollars, entrapping people in poverty for no other reason than to buy themselves votes and the US could have had a network of bullet trains crisscrossing the country. The US is about 31 TRILLION in debt and not much to show for it.

It makes the New York subway system look like something from the stone age.
Chuckle.

Pure propaganda. I’ve been to China multiple times. Anywhere outside of a city is some of the shittiest roads you’ll ever see. Inside a city are some of the most ass backward roads that are ready made for standstill traffic. Especially Peking. It’s a bunch of traffic circles.

Their concrete is substandard garbage and their empty cities are falling apart.

Beijing is prone to sandstorms and you can cut the pollution with a knife.

Granted you probably won’t get shot on those trains, but there’s a good chance the tunnel will collapse on your head.

I would rather live in a filthy New York City than live in Communist China.

Yet. But the Communists have done so in Communist China.

They haven’t made it impossible for me to leave New York City if I wanted to, to go anywhere else, for any other purpose.

If you lived in China, and wanted to to, say, Shanghai to protest in front of a headquarters of your bank, all the government has to do to keep you from doing that (and they have plenty of reasons as Communists to want to prevent people from doing that with their Real Estate market imminently crashing) is to electronically turn your CR code (needed to go from point A to point B in Communist China) red. That’s it.

They put it in place for COVID. But it has become quite useful.

The scumbags running this country haven’t done that.

Yet.

Yep. They may have subway systems anywhere in Communist China made of pure gold and polished to a high gleam every day.

But I won’t go there to ride on the things and slaver over them like some do.

Because those subways of pure gold are polished by slaves.

Slaves. Real slaves.

Like California’s maglev train?

Those trains only work in the most populated corridors.

But I agree the US should be leading the world in so many areas. We need to get the Fed’s out.

And they’re good for locking down the massive crowds that are trying to get their life savings out of the banks that stole them.

Even the best designed, fastest, and most powerful warship is reduced to a rusting, stationary hulk if its hull becomes encrusted with barnacles.

The United States of America is just that. It was designed as the world’s fastest and most powerful engine of economic wealth and personal freedom, and was that way for the better part of its history.

Due to corruption and a bloated, ever expanding Federal bureaucracy, this sleek and powerful engine, given to us by our forefathers, is encrusted with the barnacles of Leftism and corruption and is in danger of sinking.

What is beneath the barnacles of Leftism and corruption is the sleek idea, just as powerful and dynamic as it was in 1789, but unless we can free it from the encrustation of Leftism, it is going to rust through and sink.

That is why they hate and fear a man like Donald Trump as much as they do.

I was on subways in Guangzhou and Hong Kong some 8 or 9 years ago. They make American subways look medieval. They also make it nearly impossible to push someone on the tracks, because there is a partition between the platform and the tracks. The train pulls up with its doors precisely aligned to the station barrier doors, and both open together.

That great Parisian feature copied in DC. They are a nightmare.

That was the point of mentioning that.

And now, our own government, knowing full well they would not be able to impose a national “passport” for movement under the guise of “protecting us” from some pathogen, are pursuing a parallel course with a national electronic currency.

So instead of turning our CR code red using a national passport as is done in Communist China which prevents Chinese citizens from even leaving their homes, they would turn our personal electronic purses red, denying us our own money to buy gas, airplane or bus tickets, or even food.

Anyone who thinks that won’t happen isn’t paying attention.

Oh yeah. Ancient history. They don’t do anything like that over in China anymore.

That “Ghost City” stuff is all Western Propaganda.

And they sure don’t restrict the movements of people who might attempt to go to a nearby city to demonstrate against the loss of their personal savings in those Ghost Cities by electronically changing their CR code.

Oh, I know. It doesn’t happen to the likes of you, so it doesn’t happen.

All built when the Brits ran the place.

Come and see the rapid decline I’m living through.

Cops traveling in packs arresting people for not “properly” wearing masks. Construction sites stopped for months because one guy has COVID.

Entire complexes of 5-6 buildings locked down so they can find 9 cases of Covid.

Lan Kwai Fong and SOHO tourist locations just a bunch of vacant storefronts.

Hong Kong is done. And the MTR is a private company btw.

Leftists love Communist China and want to emulate it. Even some on this very forum.

It is great when your name is Walter Duranty, and you are getting plenty of perks from the Communists to paint their activities in a positive light, but it isn’t so great being a Kulak who is either shot in the head outright, or forced to eat a piece of flesh cut from the starved corpse of Uncle Vlad’s calf.

Just pisses me off. We have learned NOTHING from the 20th Century.

Oh, this is the new, modern, updated form of Communism found in China. It will work if we do it right.

No, it won’t.

It is still Communism, the single most blood-drenched ideology in the history of mankind. It may have a nice velvet glove on, to fool the West, but underneath, it is still the blood drenched fist of Communism.

We damn well better recognize that and not forget it.
