And the Biden administration was ready to demagogue against white supremacists. No doubt. This is why the white house felt the need to weigh in with commentary. Since the killer was a fellow jihadi, and not a white guy with a MAGA hat, they will be deeply disappointed and the story will disappear.

Despite the killer being a fellow jihadi, the news headlines still highlight the fact that "muslim" men were killed in an effort to suggest that they were killed by a non-muslim and therefore the victims of a "hate crime".
If you read the stories, you will see that they only identify the victims as muslim, but no mention of the fact that the killer was also muslim. The Washington post did not even go into any detail about the motive (shiite vs. sunni) of the killer and only talked about how the "muslim community" felt threatened, etc. Pathetic reporting. At least the UK Daily Mail presents the story in full context.
