The artillery shells you are referencing cost about $2,000 each, that was ten years ago so probably more like $3,000 now especially in Russia, but let’s use the old price $2k, 6,500 shells x 6 would mean they just spent $78 million just shelling one objective . Would they or could they? Yes it’s possible but their military budget is about 14% of ours so if they have spent that amount, their “victory” will be pyrrhic.
Do I think Ukraine will win, no. I’m surprised Russia has had this much difficulty and not wrapped it up by now. But let’s not forget Russia is not our friend, nor China and I’m not putting Ukraine on our friend list either.

The thing with Russian Artillery shells, is that they don’t need to pay for them out of their current budget - they inherited millions from the Soviet stockpiles.
Although they can afford to fire millions now, being able to replace that many in inventory (for future conflicts) is where they have their budgetary challenge.
Outside of their strong suits, like Artillery shell stockpiles and old vehicles in inventory, that replacement/restocking challenge is much greater for Russia. Things like precision guided missiles or combat aircraft are going to be difficult to afford and hard to do even if they could, given sanctions, and the loss of Ukrainian and Western materials and components from their supply chains.
They have been burning through a year’s worth of production for some platforms and munitions per month - in some cases, per week.
The human capital losses for their Military, has been another weak spot for the Russians. Specialized skills and leadership, that take years to be develop, have been hollowed out quickly by their wartime losses.
Faced with a Russian regime that clearly has the intent to use its Military capability for conquest, NATO sees the utility of removing that capability from their hands. Keep them fighting that tar baby until they are completely exhausted, and a decade or a generation from being able to mount the same level of capability again.
