He stopped associating him before the election, isolated him in the White House, and fired him as soon as he could.

Bannon wasn’t fired - he just came to the conclusion he isn’t suited for team play. Like Trump, he speaks his mind and refuses to be scripted.

They are totally friends and nobody has worked harder or more effectively to advance Trump’s MAGA movement.

Sorry, that's not the way it happened. Bannon was already give a bad spot in the WH, but in August 2018 he was fired because the last straw was giving an interview to left-leaning journalist Robert Kuttner. He contradicted Trump's North Korea policy, and criticized other parts of the White House, though not specifically Trump. And remember, a month later Bannon said firing James Comey was the biggest mistake in modern political history.

By the way, we know Bannon was fired, because Trump said it himself. In January of 2018 Trump said, "When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind." Doesn't sound like a complement to me? He trashed Bannon then, for giving an interview to a book and saying Donald Trump Jr.'s meeting with the Russians was, "treasonous and unpatriotic."
