We don’t watch Jeopardy anymore, mostly because Alex Trebec is gone, but even before that the show wasn’t as good as it had been years ago. Successfully answering questions now seems to depend on being able to solve hints and pick up references, rather than simply knowing information.

Jeopardy is one of the few things I watch on TV. My wife and I watch it together because it's mildly entertaining and the intellectual challenge is fun. It doesn't take up much time. It's relaxing. It's far better than most of the bilge that's broadcast, especially the so-called "news reports."

Mayim and Ken are pleasant folks, and the guests tend to be interesting.

I never do well on questions about TV and pop culture. I have no interest in that.

I do like challenging my mind and memory on subjects that interest me, and some of them do.

I used to get almost all the correct answers. Not so much any more--I think it's because I have no interest in some of the subjects that seem to fascinate the producers of the show.

If Jeopardy should degenerate any further into some agitprop display, the OFF-SWITCH is as far away as my index finger.
