Laughing my ass off at this foolishness.

Sounds like Chuckie made a dumb mistake by not running this by the manufacturers before putting it in the bill.

I would suggest that as a matter of history, you are missing out. Elon Musk is making American history as an industrialist of the very first and highest order

As a matter of interest, watch him at his annual meeting to hear his presentation and second to observe the straight forward and low key presentation of a series of slides and illustrations. He knows his stuff and delivers in considerable detail with no notes.

Am I a fan? probably, not necessarily of Tesla but of the Musk enterprises. He has recruited super fantastic teams to accomplish his take over of rocketry and electric vehicles, cars, trucks and big rigs. His guys beat out Boeing and the Russian government.

He dwells in the future, not the past

He is a work in progress, but as an American industrialist, is worth watching

My issue with Musk is that he is part of the scam of forcing taxpayers to fund projects—either directly or indirectly—while claiming that he is a capitalist.

The car companies do not need tax credits as the electric vehicles are so wonderful!!!
People are lining up to pay 5 times or more for electric over much cheaper and better all around gas cars.

People want the Ford electric F-150 truck over the gas F-150 that has more energy stored in 4 gallons of gas and can go hundreds of miles on a full tank vs the electric model that might go 80 whole miles pulling a trailer. Who needs to go further?

The people who buy electric vehicles are smart too as they wear a mask and have had a vaccine shot and all the many boosters as well.
