I thought the interview and Macgregor's perspective was interesting. I thought the same of Trump's thinking on exiting Afghanistan; One of the reasons I voted for him! Thing is he never got around to it but Biden did, not the way Trump probably would have done it but there it is.

Trump thought enough of Macgregor that he was one of five finalists under consideration for National Security Advisor, and also nominated U.S. Ambassador to Germany though not approved for either.

In a day and age when no information from the MSM in our country seems truthful, helpful, or the slightest bit patriotic, including Mrs. Smith's cat was rescued from a tree, I think there's a problem with the Daily Mail's constant refrain of how Ukraine is kicking Russia's behind everyday.

I think it's obvious Putin has taken a light touch on Ukraine to a degree but not so much as we have been led to believe.

The first casualty of war is the truth. Everyone has an agenda, I know NOTHING!

“Thing is he (Trump) never got around to it but Biden did”

There were a lot of things Trump wanted to do; but wasn’t allowed to by the Deep State + the military + Republicans. And, yes, getting out of Afghanistan was one of them. He did finally get a time line established, but even that was like pulling teeth.

He also wanted to get out of NATO. He felt that after the Soviet withdrawal and the end of the Warsaw Pact that there was no need for NATO and he did not think that Russia was a threat. He likes Putin and felt we could work with them; but the Deep State + Dems + media demonized both Trump and Putin and made that impossible.

BTW, if he had “won” in 2020 he intended to attempt again to get out of NATO.

But, until someone is able to drain the swamp even having a great president like Trump will not be enough to allow the change that is so necessary.
