"...we need to put forth more moderate candidates in HOUSE and SENATE races."

I said nothing of Presidential elections.

Better than Lindsey or John Cornyn.

There is time for peace and there is time for war. This was a declaration of war by Cheney, if they want war, then war they shall have.

Dick is 81.

Compare his performance in this ad to the interview with the 80 year old liquor store owner who "shot the arm off" of the would be robber.

Our minds don't all age at the same rate.

I said nothing of Presidential elections.

Why would you choose a “moderate” to win a house or senate race but not a presidential race. What is the logic?

A la Egg McMuffin? Good luck with her trying something like that.

NO, No RINOS.

I don’t want the dollar store\wish faux-conservative tainting the brand just because they happen to have a R next to their name.

If the Democrat wins the election, the blame is on them for the next election.

This will do nothing but seal the deal where her impending loss is concerned.

Probably. But when you're looking at defeat you want to fire the last bullet, even if it's unlikely to hit anything. Daddy-Dick is that last bullet.

I wonder how many billions of tax dollars have been squandered because Liz thought Donald Trump was mean to her and her Daddy.

Nobody knew who McMuffin was. Cheney on the other hand is now very prominent, that’s why she got the role on the J6 hearings in the first place.

I agree with you. This angry, bitter ad is backfiring bigtime. Pure unadulterated hate and anger does not win people over to your side. As least not on the conservative side of the fence.

I see he was trying to channel John Dutton of the Yellowstone show.

Not working Dick. All hat and no cattle.

Tough to watch. He speaks for “Lynn and I ...” too. I always admired her.

This will probably serve Liz well, though, sorry to say.

Liz running 3rd party would garner less that 1-percent of the popular vote and be a factor in zero states. Now the Dems might offer her a slot ticket as some sort of ‘national unity’ scam-ticket. Nah! They’ll make her secretary of something-or-other.

The biggest threat to our republic is assholes that start wars based on known LIES about WMD’s, or allowing our Country to be attacked and then secretly flying the Terrorist Leaders out of the Country under the cover of darkness.

I'm looking at the voting pools. House races have very small voter pools. House Members are more likely to cover the whole ideological spectrum. You have your AOC's, your Gaetz's, and then everyone in the middle. But usually, moderates win these races, and although they are not perfect, they tend to vote with their party well over 90% of the time. So it's smart to get someone in there with an "R" next to their name who will toe the line.

Senate voter pools are the entire State. So you need a candidate who appeals to most voters. Again, there aren't many Senators who split with their own party. Having a majority in the Senate is important in case a SCOTUS seat comes up (this is Trump's legacy). So it makes sense, again, to get someone in there from your party and not throw away winnable Senate elections (PA and GA) because you don't think the R candidate is pure enough.

Just my opinion. I am sure there are people around here who are fine with the Dems having the Senate, but I am not. That's how you get Kagan and Sotomayor.
