I know its a stupid soap opera, but it seems like Amazon, the streaming services, are calling the shots.

I wish there was a classic soap opera channel where they showed episodes of old soaps.

I never watched the show, but I always stopped as a little kid to see the hour glass. I found it to be a bit mesmerizing. An iconic show opening if ever there was one.

This is no biggie. Peacock is owned by nbc.

This seems really off, as it would seem the primary audience would probably not be people who use streaming services.

And taking it off the air for yet another news show?

If there’s anything that the old ladies who watch soaps are keen on, it’s changing formats and adopting new technology.

“A new, hour-long program called NBC News Daily is scheduled to take over Days’ time slot on NBC.”

The NBC headhogs must think the unwashed need more indoctrination. It is hard to believe that soap opera fans will appreciate the abrupt change into “news.”

I remember as a child in the 1960s all activity came to a standstill in our house every afternoon as mom shut down to watch “Days of Our Lives”.

I just think the networks going all news all day is not going to bring eyeballs. We already have three major news channels available. Must we add to them? I think in the Ling run this will hurt the network more then it does already.
