Lt. Gov. John Fetterman's blue-collar image is questioned by Republican opponent Dr. Mehmet Oz, who cites Fetterman's comfortable upbringing and reports of being financially supported by his parents until his mid-40s.
Fetterman has confirmed the financial backing from his parents during his time as mayor of Braddock, Pennsylvania, and said that it allowed him to work full-time in the position for several years.
According to OpenSecrets, Fetterman's father, Karl Fetterman, gave more than $100,000 to The 15104, the single-candidate super PAC that was backing his son's campaign in 2016.

I love Trump - he’s the best thing that ever happened to politics. In 2016, 2018, and 2020, President Trump showed everyone the power of just telling the unvarnished truth, and let the chips fall where they may.
President Trump made enemies of anyone who would not tell the truth -including Republicans - and that was a refreshing reminder that a true leader stands firm and doesn’t worry about being liked.
But for the 2022 midterms, everyone is suddenly obsessed with endorsements, and it is bringing out a lot of group-think that is not very Trump-like. Everyone is talking about being a team player and uniting with other Republicans to beat the Democrats.
Well, that isn’t what Trump did in 2016 or 2020 - and that is the kind of thinking that begets RINOs.
Yes, some people are posting negative articles daily against Dr. Oz. They think that Dr. Oz will be worse than Fetterman because he is a Muslim and served in the Turkish military. Plus, they think both candidates are equally liberal. Check out those posts. I, on the other hand, believe Dr. Oz will vote with Republicans. I recommend that Republicans vote for Dr. Oz.
As I pointed out, Oz embraces Trump while RINOs run away from Trump.

They’re probably unaware that Fetterman is nothing more than a silver spooned Harvard grad that makes sloths look energetic. All of his schtick is to make himself look like a young rebel despite being well into middle age.
The town where he was mayor was a shithole before he was in office and is still a shithole well after his promotion to Lt Governor. Citizens of Braddock themselves won’t drive through that area with their windows down! It is a mess!
Fetterman did *nothing* all of those years he was in office. He is one of the many media creations out there wrecking the country. He doesn’t want to work for a living, so he decided to milk politics for all it is worth using other people’s money (in this case, his father’s).
I never thought Pennsylvania would be close to electing someone lazier and to the left of Bob Casey Jr, but TV is one hell of a drug.
Also, I swear his wife is Tereza Heinz-Kerry’s dumber, but more alcoholicy, sister :-).

I agree, but Fetterman sells himself as this working class guy that worked his way up from nothing. Few know he’s from a wealthy family and a Harvard graduate (father paid for that too from what I understand).
I think it’s perfectly valid to point this out ... it’s attacking the lie Fetterman is selling and exposing his character. It isn’t using Fetterman’s parent’s wealth as an item to make people envious.
