I don’t think you are aware that 77% of people over 65 have hypertension. Only 30% are obese so hypertension exists in most of those people who are not obese.
Hypertension is the #2 Covid comorbidity. Obesity did not even make the top 5. It is #6.
The point being old age is decisive, and since the old generally all have comorbidities, there is no point dwelling on comorbidities as a separate factor. It is old people at risk. Being old is the critical factor.
The young are not at personal risk. But they risk being the source of early death for the old.
Non N95 masks do not work. Vax fails quickly. Only getting away from people works. If the next surge is powerful we will see that lockdown is a very mild measure compared to evacuation of cities.
