What I meant was, it was very important at the time to figure out if it was accidental - because there were and are plenty of gay dentists, and if she and the others got infected by aerosols from infected hand pieces or by virus passing through gloves, that would have changed practice really fast.

However, as far as could be determined, it was just THAT dentist and just THOSE six patients, making a technical, accidental explanation very unlikely.
